Kit requirements are kept as minimalist and as compact as possible. Do not get bogged down with a load of equipment. You do not need it. Ancient Warriors needed little to train, to grow and to stimulate. The same applies here. Some of the best sessions involve a Hike or Climb for miles, stop and do bodyweight movements, find some natural stones to lift, move and carry and then be on your way again.
I recommend buying all of the below equipment, in particular the Sandbag and Vest, from Rogue (www.rogueeurope.com) or Bulldog Gear. (www.bulldoggear.eu). They are just my personal preference as i find their equipment exceptionally tough, durable and reliable.
Sandbags are bought empty and can be brought to any beach, filled with sand to capacity, used and then emptied after the workout is complete. They are a tremendous training tool and can bring a high level of functionality and fun to any workout.
The equipment listed below will give you as much exercise variation as possible. All four can be used as standalone or can be combined for greater variety. The Weighted Vest in particular is invaluable as it brings an extra dimension to bodyweight exercises, especially walks, runs or hikes.

One final piece of recommended kit is a decent rucksack. One you can load with essential supplies and also a piece of training kit. A single 10 Kg Dumbbell is a great choice as many exercises can be done with it. Ensure that your rucksack is comfortable and sits well on your back and hips.
