Special Operator is a fully comprehensive 7 week training program designed to fully prepare the individual for the rigours of being a special operator and preparing them for special operations testing and training.
It is an integrated functional fitness and mental toughness training program. It leverages the best practices of special operator style physical and mental training.

Special Operator is for existing members of the Police/Armed Forces looking to advance their career or for individuals looking for a career in the Police/Armed Forces. Special Operator is also designed for existing Firefighters or for individuals looking for a career in the Fire Service.

This training will not only make you functionally fit, but “operator strong”. It will make you adaptable to whatever challenges come your way. You’ll get into the best shape of your life.
Special Operator training is rigorous and not for the faint of heart, it requires an honest assessment of yourself, your strengths, your weaknesses, and a deep commitment to daily training and improvement. Day by day, you will become better, stronger and more resilient.
Through this program you will develop mental endurance and combine it with the physical skills of strength, stamina, work capacity, endurance and durability. This combination enables you to win in your mind before stepping onto the battlefield and tap the energy that lies deep inside all of us. Let the mind control the body, not body control the mind.
Your training program will contain up to at least 4-5 different Gym based workouts per week. You will also have an active recovery/outdoor training day to compliment the program. Your program will be designed around your specific goals, existing training level and time constraints.
A nutritional plan designed to boost metabolism, fuel your performance and burn bodyfat. It will contain great tasting meals that are easy to prepare and will provide you with more energy in life, the gym and on the field. The plan will include foods that will help you build muscle, lose body fat and improve recovery from workouts and games.

The warm up will be both movement based and skill based to prepare your body for the main training session.
The main section of the session and is the priority section for the day. This section covers Strength/Power Development that will stress your CNS most.
The movements and exercises in this section compliment the Main Section of the workout. Its main aim is to address weaknesses and assist in bullet-proofing the body.
The Engine section of the workout aims at increasing your work capacity, cardiovascular and cardiorespiratory systems. Along with standard gym equipment, cardio equipment utilised here will include Row, Ski, Airbike, Bike, Treadmill run, Outdoor run, burpees and skipping.
A Standalone Engine Training Day consists of a training session or sessions that focus purely on developing and increasing your Engine Capacity. These sessions can take the form of IWT’s (Interval Weight Training Sessions), Conditioning Specific blocks, Runs, a Hike or a combination.
